Storefront Studio

Coming soon. Storefront Studio is not ready yet. The steps below describe the planned workflow and may change before release.

Storefront Studio is a chat app that lives in the SDK repository under storefront-studio/. You tell it about your business, a small crew of agents asks the questions it needs, and you receive a zip with a complete store. You run npm install, fill in a .env, and you are live.

Start it#

No packages are needed. With no AI key it runs in guided mode (a built-in question flow). To use a cloud model set OPENAI_API_KEY (optionally OPENAI_BASE_URL) or ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, and optionally STUDIO_MODEL.

What the crew does#

Agent Job
Discovery Interviewer Learns the business, products, design, operations.
Feature planner Chooses SDK features (cart, checkout, wallet, bookings, profile, 2FA, admin...).
Generator Writes the app from vetted templates.
QA scanner Checks every SDK call against the real SDK and looks for leaked secrets.
Packager Writes the zip and a SHA-256 manifest.

It handles salons, trades, fruit stalls, digital sellers, and large enterprises with staff roles. You can attach a design picture or paste HTML; pasted HTML is sanitised and becomes a custom section while all functionality stays on the SDK.

What you get#

A Node app with a small server that keeps your API key private, a browser interface, CSRF protection, rate limiting, and security headers. Unzip, then:

Good to know#

  • Generated apps only call SDK methods; the scanner blocks the build if anything else appears.
  • Digital-product seed items need a manual file upload, so they are skipped with a warning.
  • Multi-currency, subscription screens, webhook consoles and mini-apps are not generated yet.
  • Review the generated app against your own server before launch.
